Dave Mustaine Interviews Slash: Rap, Pillage, and Anarchy on the Road

A 1989 interview between Dave Mustaine and Slash, with Jeff Young present in the introduction [00:00:01]. Mustaine asks Slash how many people he "trashed" on his last tour [00:00:15]. Slash jokes about having enough legal hassles but summarizes his touring ethos as: "I did my damage, everybody suffered for it... I'm still alive" [00:00:28]. The musicians joke and agree that their life model is "rap, pillage and unemployed" [00:00:38]. The main reason for staying on tour, according to Mustaine, is that "the beer is free and you can always get a sandwich" [00:00:43].
