Dave Mustaine - Interview with Riki Rachtman (MTV Headbangers Ball 1990)

Short MTV interview, part of the *Headbangers Ball* show, featuring Dave Mustaine promoting the imminent release of the *Rust in Peace* album (1990). Mustaine announces that the album would be shipped that week [00:00:18]. He describes the album as a 9-song LP, with over 40 minutes of material and no cover songs, making it Megadeth's longest album to date [00:00:39]. He highlights the two new members: Marty Friedman on guitar and Nick Menza on drums [00:00:46]. Mustaine states that, thanks to the new lineup, they have gotten their "fire back" and things are looking very good for them [00:00:51]. The video for their first single, 'Holy Wars... The Punishment Due', was world-premiered on MTV and was currently competing in the *Ball Buster* segment of the show [00:01:00].
