Interview with Dave Mustaine about Megadeth's new album and more
Dave Mustaine talked about Megadeth's last tour and his health problems. The leader of the legendary band discussed the health issues that led him to make the decision to close Megadeth after more than 40 years of career. "My hands were failing me," Mustaine confessed. The 64-year-old musician suffers from arthritis, inflamed discs, a lumbar fracture and has his back fused at the neck. "I always said that when I got to the point where I couldn't give one hundred percent every night, that would be when I would start to consider quitting," he explained in an interview with Eddie Trunk. The group will release their 17th and final self-titled album "Megadeth", followed by a worldwide farewell tour that will extend for several years. In Argentina they will perform on April 30, 2026 at Tecnópolis.
