Iron Maiden Snubs Hall of Fame

Iron Maiden will not attend the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on November 14. The band is currently on their world tour and will be in Australia at the time of the ceremony. According to their manager, Rod Smallwood, "the fans always come first and the shows will, of course, go on." The band's tour schedule includes dates in Europe, North America, and Australia. They will be playing in Melbourne's AAMI Park on November 13 and Sydney's Allianz Stadium on November 15, making it impossible for them to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles. Iron Maiden is being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside other notable artists such as Phil Collins, Billy Idol, and Wu-Tang Clan. Despite their absence, the band is excited to continue their tour and perform for their fans around the world. In a statement, Rod Smallwood explained that the band's commitment to their fans and their tour schedule takes priority. "We would like to assure all our fans in Australasia that the Australian and New Zealand dates will remain unaffected, and we look forward to bringing the 'Run For Your Lives' tour to them on the penultimate stop of our 50th-anniversary celebrations," he said. Iron Maiden's tour dates are as follows: 5/23 Athens, Greece OAKA, 5/26 Sofia, Bulgaria Vasil Levski Stadium, 5/28 Bucharest, Romania Arena Națională, and many more. Fans can catch them live at any of these dates and purchase tickets now. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on November 14, and while Iron Maiden will not be in attendance, their music and legacy will be celebrated alongside other iconic artists.
