Iron Maiden Misses Hall of Fame
Iron Maiden will not attend their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The band is currently on tour in Australia, with concerts scheduled for November 13 in Melbourne and November 15 in Sydney. According to their manager, Rod Smallwood, 'the fans are always first' and the concerts will go ahead as planned. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Iron Maiden will be inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside other notable artists, including Phil Collins, Billy Idol, and Wu-Tang Clan. In a statement to Billboard, Smallwood said, 'As you may have noticed, the band will be on tour in Australia around the time of the induction ceremony in Los Angeles. We want to assure all our fans in Australasia that the dates in Australia and New Zealand will not be affected, and we are looking forward to bringing them the 'Run For Your Lives' tour.' The 'Run For Your Lives' tour will kick off on November 7 at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, before moving on to Australia. The tour will feature special guest Megadeth. Iron Maiden is also set to perform at the Resurrection Fest and Rock Imperium festivals later this year. Tickets for these events are selling quickly, and fans are advised to purchase them soon to avoid missing out.
