Dave Mustaine Testimony - The dark side and his conversion

Interview where Dave Mustaine discusses his faith and experiences with the occult. Mustaine states he has no doubt about the devil's existence, whose "greatest lie" was convincing people he doesn't exist. He describes the devil as "very beautiful," not a "monster" with a pointy tail [00:00:13]. He mentions that not all Heavy Metal music is infused with demonic power, as there are bands that "believe in God and glorify him," and that he and his band pray every night before going on stage [00:00:57]. Mustaine explains that he was raised as a Jehovah's Witness but "revolted" into witchcraft because he hated going out knocking on people's doors [00:01:53]. He recounts two experiences as a teenager where he believes the hexes worked: one cast on a bully who was injured in a car accident [00:02:06] and another that resulted in a girl showing up at his apartment the next day [00:02:20]. He also describes making "blood pacts" in adulthood [00:02:58]. Mustaine establishes a relationship between his alcoholism and Satanism, noting that anytime he had been doing anything satanic, he had been drinking [00:03:31]. Finally, he asserts that he is "more dangerous" now as a Christian than he ever was before because he is "armed with the truth" [00:04:01].
